Legal Fees
If we believe your claim has merit and you decide to instruct Perth City Legal we will represent you on a no win-no fee basis.
This means we will take on your case on the understanding that we will not be paid if your claim is unsuccessful.
At your first consultation we will carefully review the circumstances of your injury and any relevant documents that you provide. We will then give you advice as to the merit of your claim.
We will tell you if we believe your claim has no merit. We believe that expending time and exposing our clients to a risk of financial loss when a claim has little likelihood of success is unacceptable.
If your personal injury claim is successful we will negotiate with your opponent's insurance company for a reasonable contribution towards your legal costs.
If you lose your case it is important to understand that you may have to pay:
- your opponent's legal costs; and
- your and your opponent's disbursements (other expenses or charges, such as fees for expert witnesses if they are needed).
